Illamasqua Pure Pigment Beguile | Review & Swatches

Illamasqua Pure Pigment Beguile £5, rrp £15.50

A little while ago now i noticed Illamasqua were having a sale, so i took the opportunity to have a gander when i spotted Beguile Pure Pigment for £5, can you believe. After hearing so many good things about it and reading an amazing review about how much Louise from Sprinkle of Glitter loved this Pigment, i bought it!
It really is a lovely product i'm hoping if you look closely enough in the last picture you can see the mint green and pink shimmers in the glitter. The pigment particles are fine and not in anyway chunky. I feel that it will be a beautiful product to wear in the spring and summer, the pigment catching the light will look so pretty.
I i must admit i haven't actually wore this 'out' in any form of shape yet. but i have a planned look for it when the nice weather comes. Although i have tested it and over the top of eye shadows it does look stunning and this is how i plan to use it in the summer; over a neutral eye shadow with a brown winged liner. Just to spice it up a little bit, Beguile will go over the top of the eye make-up.
As much as i love this product and it shows some gorgeous colours i'm not 100% i would spend the full £15.50 as i'm not so much a glitter lover, but i'm glad i have it in my collection and it will definitely be used more so for 'nights out'. But, if you are a love of shimmer, glitter eye make-up on a more regular basis then this is beautiful because it does not limit you in anyway! I think it could be worn with anything other products your like and included in a more basic look, to spice it up!

What are your thoughts?

  1. I've heard a lot about this! It looks like it could look really stunning - I totally agree with your proposed way of wearing it. Lovely post. x
